At Omni-Verse, your privacy is one of our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who has access to it, and the choices you have over your personal data. WHAT WE COLLECT When you create an account, we collect your email address, a display name (username), and (optionally) a phone number. When you play a game, we store the sessions you create, the categories you choose, and the scores you and your team achieve. When you make a purchase or redeem a code, we record the transaction so we can credit your account fairly. We never collect more than we genuinely need to run the platform. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA Your data powers your experience — it personalizes your game history, lets you log back in, tracks your coin balance, and helps us improve the platform. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties. We may use anonymized, aggregated statistics (like "X% of players answered correctly") to refine our games, but never in a way that identifies you personally. WHO HAS ACCESS Your data is stored securely with Supabase (our database provider) and processed by Vercel (our hosting provider) and Resend (our transactional email provider). These vendors are bound by industry-standard data protection agreements and only handle data on our behalf. Our internal team only accesses individual account data when investigating a support request you have sent us. YOUR RIGHTS You have full rights over your data. You can: • Request a copy of everything we have about you. • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate information. • Request that your account and all associated data be permanently deleted. • Withdraw consent for any optional processing at any time. SECURITY We use modern security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, row-level database security, and strict internal access controls. No system is ever 100% secure, but we treat your data with the same care we would want for our own. COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE Omni-Verse uses cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language preference, and maintain your in-progress games. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. CHILDREN Omni-Verse is designed to be family-friendly, but accounts should be created and managed by users aged 13 or older, or with parental supervision for younger players. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this policy as the platform evolves. When we do, we will reflect the change here and update the "Last updated" date.
